Splish Splash Addy's Taking a Bath

Our little girl has outgrown her tub that hooked on the sink. Here is her new tub! My mom's friend, Clara, gave it to me at a baby shower and it is so cute! Adalynn seems to like her big pink bathtime duck!

Gatlinburg Getaway

On Sunday, we headed to one of my favorite places... Gatlinburg, TN! Not only do I love it because of all of the childhood memories I have from family trips there, it is where my wonderful husband and I spent our honeymoon! Tucked away in a warm cozy cabin ringing in the new year of 2008! Nick, Adalynn, and I plus his parents had a wonderful time walking around, shopping, and of course, eating! My grandparents were also down there camping so we spent some time with them as well! :)

We stayed in an amazing 4 bedroom cabin up in the Smokey Mountains. It was actually 2 bedrooms too many. Unfortunately, Nick's brother and his family weren't able to go at the last minute. The weather was gorgeous and Adalynn was such a good little girl!

Here's our girl snoozing while we were out eating. She has been grasping things while asleep lately!

Addy Making Headlines?

It's about a 4 month old baby named Alex who was denied health insurance for being "too fat!" He's a perfectly healthy, breastfed baby. Much like our little girl! I had to giggle when I heard this story because Adalynn actually weighs more than this little boy! He weighed 18 lbs at 4 months and she weighed 18.5! Anyway, the company changed their policy and he is now insured.

Just thought I would share. I do love me a big baby!

Fingers Crossed

I am off work for a week and a half! Woo hoo! We are leaving for Gatlinburg on Sunday! However, I am feeling a little under the weather and I'm afraid Adalynn might be too. I am very nervous because my dad has the flu (feel better soon dad!) and I've been in contact with a lot of sick kids at school. Our fingers are crossed that it is nothing. Stay healthy everyone!
