Happy Father's Day!

Happy Father's Day to everyone!

My dad is a wonderful dad! He always told me how much he loved me. I could talk to him about a lot when I was growing up (not everything, some things I saved for mom :) ). But, a lot more than some girls could. My dad is the hardest working person I know. His work ethic inspires me. He still always had time to be at every ball game and special event we had. That's pretty amazing since he had 4 kids! I am so thankful for my wonderful dad!

Now, onto Addy's daddy! She is one lucky little girl! He would definitely do anything for her. Seeing how great he is with her, makes me fall more in love with him everyday. I know that as she grows up, he will continue to tell her how special she is, how much he loves her, and be there for her whenever she needs him. We are truly blessed to have such wonderful men in our lives. It is something we will never take for granted.

Just wanted to hop on real quick before church for a short Father's Day post. I did not forget about my blog. We have just been super busy lately. I have lots to share so stay tuned! :)

Memorial Day Weekend

We had such a fun weekend! On Friday, I must have been wiped out from school and the heat because I went to bed at 6:30 pm! Thanks to Nick for taking care of Addy and getting her to bed for me. Sometimes, sleeping is my idea of fun. :)

Saturday we woke up early and went out to breakfast. Then headed to Toys R Us and the new TJ Maxx in Clarksville. I found some cute things! Love that place! After Miss Adalynn napped, we headed to the Strawberry Festival in Starlight. That evening, we headed to the Riverbats Game. We had an indoor box through Nick's work. It was so nice to keep Adalynn in the shade and air conditioning while still watching the game.

On Sunday, we went to church and out to lunch with my fam. Then, we were off to Patoka Lake with Nick's brother, Corey, and his girlfriend, Cheryl. I was nervous as to how Adalynn would handle it. It was a scorcher. We were using my parents camper though. So, at least we had some AC. We went to Patoka's beach, cooked out, and had a camp fire. Adalynn fell asleep at her usual time and did just fine. However, it must have been really exhausting for her because she was a grouchy little lady yesterday and today.

So that was our action packed weekend. All that fun and no pictures to share! I kept forgetting my camera! Promise to post some soon though!
