Most people that know
Adalynn know that she happens to be one PICKY eater. She has been that way ever since she has started eating baby food. For some reason, it's just not something she enjoys doing.
My child doesn't like to eat?!? How can that be? As it turns out, I was quite the picky eater myself when I was younger.

She appears to be enjoying a snack here. Not really so though. See how the food is all crunched? She's more of a player than an eater. Here she's eating those little pretzel nuggets with peanut butter inside. Some of the crunching I did when I was giving it to her though.
Addy has a few choice foods she will eat. Yogurt is a favorite of hers. She also likes scrambled eggs, green beans, bananas, pizza, strawberries, peas, raisins, popcorn, pretzels, oatmeal, certain soups, goldfish and corn. Doesn't sound too bad I guess. Most of the foods she eats are pretty healthy. However, even when she does eat, it's like 5 bites and she's done.
Dr.'s say to let kids like this "graze" all day, which we do. The only thing is, feeding our child is turning into a full-time job because we are constantly offering foods which she rejects. Then, we try again a little while later.
When she does eat a decent meal, her little tummy must feel so much better, and she is in a lot better of mood. I hope this phase is over soon because it is wearing me out!
Sorry for my venting on her
pickiness... I wasn't really trying to write a novel. :) I'm just worried because she has gone from the 95
th percentile in weight to the 60
th in a matter of months. Her Dr. doesn't seem too concerned, so that's good!
