party planning

I know it's still early, but I have already started planning Addy's birthday party. (Even though it's a little over 3 months away!) I guess you could call it pre-planning. Nick is already worried that I'm going to go overboard. He's probably right. I can't help it though. It's in my nature. :) Plus, it will be her FIRST birthday. I mean, if a mom can't go overboard with that, when can she?

So I've decided to go with an Elmo theme. Addy loves Elmo. We don't watch a lot of TV, but Sesame Street is a show we like to catch. Really visually stimulating and musical. Even entertaining for mommies and daddies! :)

I had to share this adorable outfit I came across online while searching for ideas and things. I will definitely be ordering this for the birthday girl to wear!

The plan is to have her party up at my parents' house.

I'm not ready for her to be 1 yet. I will probably be shedding some tears on her birthday. I'm just kind of a planner so I want to have time to get all of the little details together.

    You crack me up. Actually, now I feel pressure, girl. Mine little man's is coming up. I thought about Elmo, too, but he LOVES this Go Fish cd we got him and I'm thinking about doing something with it.

    LOVE the dress. She will look like the birthday princess.

    I loved planning Kaidyn's 1st bday - I think I started about 6 months out! Crazy, I know! We had a ladybug theme since we call her our bug! I LOVE the outfit you found. She will be adorable!
