It's a jammie kind of day!

Poor Little Miss Addy has had a hard time staying well over the past few weeks. I usually like to focus on the positive. Sorry if the blog has been a little too "Debbie Downer" for ya lately! lol :)

It seems that she has been fighting one thing after another. Right now, it is a nasty stomach virus. On Monday, she threw up probably 15-20 times over the course of 5 1/2 hours. We were dressed and ready to go to the ER, but held off. I was really worried about her becoming dehydrated because she was not keeping any liquid down. My mom (who I probably called 5 times during the course of all of this) assured me that she just needed to get it all out of her system. Not sure how someone so small had that much in her to get rid of. Poor baby. :(

I stayed home from work Tuesday and took her to the doctor in the morning. While there, she said that her hydration was decent at the time, but if we did not see another wet diaper within the next few hours, it was time for IV fluids. Luckily, we only had one vomiting episode yesterday, and she did start drinking water.

She perked up after her bath last night and started playing more and more.

It has been nice snuggling with her on the couch with blankies the past couple of days. This doesn't happen a whole lot when she's feeling up to par. Someone must have decided she likes blankies during this whole thing (she usually kicks them off and wants nothing to do with them).

Here's our gal. I guess she thinks blankies go on your head. :)

So silly. :)

Snoozing. zzzzz

After working this morning, I picked Addy up from my Grandma's. She had a good day (no getting sick!), but was so ready for her nap. She slept some in bed and then woke up. A few minutes later... here she is zonked out next to me on the couch.

Same jammies from the night before. I know I love me some jammies... especially when I'm not feeling well.

  1. Aww, you should have called me. I'm glad she's okay now. That is so scary.
