first trip to the beach!

We had a great time in Destin! Adalynn was an angel in the car going there and coming home. We left around 4 am both times so she slept quite a bit. Even though the weather didn't cooperate everyday, we still got in some good beach and pool time! Here are some pictures!

She stayed pretty close to mommy at first because she wasn't quite sure what was going on.

After spending some time at the beach and pool, Adalynn was completely exhausted! She was taking a 3 hour nap everyday, and then sleeping for 10 and 11 hours a night!

We were a little worried what taking a 10 month old to the beach would be like! Luckily for us, we are blessed with a wonderful baby who pretty much just goes with the flow! As long as mommy and daddy are there, our girl is happy as a clam!

Nick and I talked about how much our lives have changed since the last time we were at the beach. In a good way of course! 2 years ago, we went to Destin for Spring Break. We had only been married for a few months. I think that if someone told us we would be back in 2 years with our 10 month old daughter, we wouldn't have believed them! :)

We were able to get some much needed rest and relaxation with lots of family time! I have LOTS of more pictures to share. I'll make another post of just pictures. I don't have all of them uploaded to my computer yet. I'm off to unpack!
