pretty in pink

I am hoping that this post does not make me seem too crazy! So, Sunday night (as Adalynn and I are up until midnight), I decided it would be a fantastic idea to paint her little toe nails pink! I mean, I had to get her ready for the beach! We are leaving for FL Friday night. I just wanted them to match her little bathing suit!

It was pretty hilarious. She just sat there like a little princess getting her pedicure. I think she was wondering what the heck I was doing. After they were painted, I started thinking to myself. "Is it even safe to paint a baby's toe nails?" So I Googled it. It turns out that it's not quite the best idea. Mostly because babies tend to put their feet in their mouths and the polish could chip off and get swallowed. Luckily for us, Addy is past the foot in mouth stage.

Look how cute it is though!






So there's my confession for the day. I painted my baby's toe nails, and I'm proud of it! :)

    Love the toes! I painted Kaidyn's last summer but it had to be when she was asleep or she would scream and wiggle. I know there is no chance this year, so she is going to the beach with unpainted toes! Adalynn will be so cute with her pink piggies though! :)
